Jim's Models built from the early 1950's Manuals
I started a series like this several years ago before I had to deal with serious health issues. I did have quite a few models built and photographed but they are long gone. So, I am starting over just for things to do whenever I get bit of time to fool around with Meccano. I find these small models relaxing and very good therapy for arthritis which has a habit of setting in when you least expect it to.
This series of models are all from the 1950's Manuals that I started the hobby with 65 plus years ago. I had bits and pieces of red and green parts from the period. The largest set I built up to was a No.8 set. The models of the No.7 & 8 Manual were my favourites. I do not expect to ever finish all of the models but I am looking forward to having some fun trying to. Order of the build depends on my mood at the time.
