Sam was the only one who brought theme models. He made 6 formula 1 racers in various colour schemes one of them being purple. Brian brought a beautiful Twin Cylinder Steam Engine supermodel that he has been working on for a while. Unfortunately there are no photos of these models.
Discussion of Brian's TCSE followed the usual pattern. Moments of genuine appreciation, minutes of calculating how much it cost, many more minutes of finding the major discrepancies then many, many more minutes of finding the minor discrepancies and finally back to adulation.
