Meccano Motor Display Rack
Designed & Built by: Jim Picton - Feb. 21, 2016
Wondering what to do with a surplus of Flanged Plates I decided to build a Motor Display rotating shelving unit so that I have easy access to various motors I can use in my models. It is a simple back-to-back two shelf unit with a centre top shelf and is made up with mainly p/n 52 and 53 flanged plates.
The unit includes Magic Motors, No. 1 & No. 2 Clockwork Motors, 4.5 vdc motors, Side Plate Motors @ 4 - 12 & 20 vdc. and a Steam Engine. All can be run on the stand.
As with my 12 drawer Parts Case previously built this unit also rotates on a TV Stand Bearing. A carry handle comes in handy as well.
