Trucks was once again the suggested theme due to the webmasters grey moment. Luckily several trucks showed up. There were also some very nice collectable sets on display.
Truck models built with various vintages of Meccano. You can see Brian's Gilbert Erector delivery truck in the first picture in the lower right corner. There was a non-Meccano model of water wheel mill that was solar powered. Fred showed his tractor's gear train. Dugan made a player piano in blue and gold. An internal music box provides the music. Lastly is a picture of all the attendees.
Reg showed off some of his collectables.
Paul Hatty from South Africa came to our meeting. Some of his models are shown below.
Miscellaneous. For those who don't know Hatchette Partworks is a French publishing company that is selling a subscription to build the Block Setting Crane.
Here's a couple of photos I found hiding on my computer. The first was a real surprise, we were at an historic farm and in one of the barns was a display to amuse children made with Meccano. The second picture is the workings of Jim Picton's Anniversary Giant Block Setting Crane.
