This is an open challenge to all BCMM Members
Submit your version of any of these fine models to be added to this page. Hopefully we can get them all built and posted
In the late 1970's there were several articles written by a Mr. Harold Taylor who had made up a builder's kit from parts from the 1978 Dark Blue and Yellow sets of the time. There were several models featured in the Meccano Magazines from April 1978 to April 1981. (available for download elsewhere on this site). The models were all related to Machine Shop Equipment.
Travelling Technikit

I took a #8 set travelling once and was not totally happy with it. Taylor's Technikit looks like a versatile set of parts that doesn't take up a lot of room. The case is from the dollar store. Printing the machine tool model instructions provided a manual. The girders and strips are on a tray made from an IKEA CD rack. The small parts are in a plastic case i got from an art supplies store. With a little juggling I'll fit in a 700 motor and be off down the road.
