The Mutilators - ( fun stuff )
I call this 'Fun Stuff' as this is where we can mangle, cut, or reshape some of our old crappy parts we have in our Meccano collection and turn them into something useful.
And, we can do this with just a basic assortment of small hand tools. So let's start off with a few things we will require to get the job done.

Most of us already have the basics such as:
- Hammer - nothing fancy - a smaller type is best as we are not intending to do a lot of damage.
- Pliers - Various - Vise-Grips could be handy but I do not use them myself.
- Tin Snips - for straight cuts
- Hack Saw - I prefer the small 6" Blade over the larger 12" one.
- File Assortment - Flat - various grades.
- Chainsaw File - 4mm Round - to elongate holes.
- Electric Drill and a few bits.
- Machinists 4" Vise
- A piece of Steel Bar or Round stock - I use a 4"diameter x 3 inch high piece, as well as a 4"w x 1/2"d x 6"l Flat Bar
The following Power Tools can be added as the need arises (for about $120.00 at Canadian Tire)
- Drill Press
- Bench Grinder and/or Vertical Belt Sander with Disc.
The following is a work in pr0gress......as I photograph and do the write ups.
